Terms & Conditions

PERIOD OF HIRE
Rentals commence at 3.00 pm on the day of rental and terminate at 10.00 am on the day of departure. Rentals run from Saturday to Saturday during peak holiday periods (e.g. Easter and Summer holidays). A minimum stay of 3 nights is required during off-peak periods, however higher rates apply for a rental period of less than 7 nights that includes a Saturday.

PAYMENT
A deposit of 30% of the rental fee is required at time of booking. The balance shall be payable 4 weeks before the commencement of the rental.

If payment of the balance of the rent is not received on or before the due date then the proprietors will consider this as a cancellation of the contract by the Client.

All payments by cheque should be made to:
Invertrossachs Country House.

We also accept major Credit Cards and Debit Cards. NOTE: Credit Cards payments are subject to a 2.5% surcharge to cover administrative costs.

RATES
Please note that management have the right to change the Tariff.

VAT
All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax).

HEATING & ELECTRICITY
All prices quoted are inclusive of heating and electricity.

CANCELLATION
The proprietors must be notified by telephone of any cancellation made by the Client for whatever reason. This must be confirmed in writing. On receipt of notice of cancellation, the proprietors will seek to re-let the property for the period of booking. If the apartment is rented for the whole period the proprietors shall refund all the monies paid less an administrative charge of £30 (plus VAT) per booking.

If the proprietors only succeed in re-letting the property for part of the period booked, or are unable to re-let the property at all, then all monies paid by the Client shall be forfeit to Invertrossachs Country House.

The Client is recommended to take out appropriate Holiday Insurance.

BREAKAGES OR DAMAGE - Deposit
A refundable security deposit of ₤100 per apartment is required to cover damages/breakages. The deposit will be refunded no later than 2 weeks after departure.

CARE OF THE PROPERTY
The Client shall take all reasonable and proper care of the property and contents and leave them in the same clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period as at the beginning. No candles should be used, due to the fire risk.

In the event of the Client causing a disturbance, or misusing the property, the proprietors reserve the right to terminate the let. In this event no refund will be payable to the Client.
Please bring suitable indoor footwear.

PETS
No pets are permitted.

SMOKING
All apartments are "non-smoking".

LIABILITY
The proprietors shall not be liable to the Client or third parties for any accident, damage, loss or injury to person or property suffered in any way connected with the rental.

If the property, which the Client has booked, becomes unavailable or unusable prior to the date of a rental, the proprietors' obligation will be to reimburse the Client for any monies paid.
